Updated January 31, 2008 .  This is the  beginning of the story about Romeo coming to U.S. He arrived in the U.S. January 15, 2008. More info and plenty of pictures about his trip and arrive in the U.S. will follow soon .

Maggie Weston a previous volunteer and Vet student just published an article in BirdTalk Magazine about La Marina.

I am updating pictures on volunteer reports.

On December 10, 2007 I updated La Lupita web page.

The Wildlife Rescue Center is a privately funded Animal Rescue  Center in Costa Rica. Animal victims of repossession, loss of habitat and accidents... from all corners of the country are brought in by local officials. Many are able to be nersed back to health and released back into their natural habitat.

Tapirs, spider monkeys, green macaws, scarlet macaws, and a few different types of felines are just some of the animals that are bred here.
